Sociology of lifestyle (SLS) encompasses the patterns of consumption, cultural, social, and psychological behaviors that individuals choose in their lives. Lifestyles may include aspects such as food consumption, clothing choices, recreational and entertainment styles, social relationship preferences, political and religious inclinations, and more.

 

The Sociology of Lifestyle (SLS), as a reputable scientific and specialized publication, focuses on publishing findings derived from the examination and analysis of various dimensions of lifestyle in contemporary societies. This journal aims to promote scientific knowledge and facilitate discussions related to lifestyle sociology, actively pursuing the publication of interdisciplinary studies regarding lifestyle in the modern world.

 

The journal strives to guide the academic community toward a better and deeper understanding of the cultural, social, and economic impacts on lifestyle, as well as the reciprocal consequences of various lifestyles on economic, social, and cultural aspects. It seeks to create a space for dialogue among researchers, students, and enthusiasts of lifestyle studies, and aims to contribute to the development of social policies based on scientific findings.

 

The Journal of Sociology of Lifestyle (SLS), more broadly, it addresses all aspects of the formation of different lifestyles and the effects resulting from the adoption of various lifestyles within society. The journal prioritizes the publication of results from both theoretical research and applied studies and policymaking related to all topics associated with lifestyle.

 

In summary, the Journal of SLS is prepared to evaluate and publish scientific articles from esteemed national and international researchers (currently in Persian, with the goal of becoming a bilingual and international journal in the future) on the following thematic areas.
