Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of education through augmented reality system on students' academic performance and academic self-efficacy. The statistical population of this study was all male students in the third grade of Qasr Shirin city. Sampling method was available by sampling and among the third grade students of the two classes in the literary primary school of Qasr Shirin, 30 people were divided into two groups of 15 controls and experiments. Then the Academic Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (CASES) and Pham and Taylor (1999) Academic Performance Questionnaire were distributed to the groups. Training sessions through augmented reality system were also held for the experimental group. Univariate and multivariate analysis of covariance and SPSS software version 24 were used to analyze the data. The results showed that education through augmented reality system has an effect on academic self-efficacy. Education through augmented reality system also affects academic performance.
