Abstract

Today women are considered as a specific group in family and society. Accepting that women are active and stimulus can influence their participation in decisions. The goal of this study was to investigate the sociological factors affecting the quality of life of women heads of households under the auspices of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee in Piranshahr. The research method of the present study is survey. The statistical population includes all female-headed households under the auspices of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee in Piranshahr, of which 265 people were selected using the Morgan table as the sample size. The data collection tool is a questionnaire and to estimate its validity and reliability, face validity and Cronbach's alpha coefficient have been used, respectively. The results showed that the correlation between the independent variables of the study including social status, social exclusion, social attitude, social capital and social support with the quality of life of women heads of households at a significance level less than 0.01 is confirmed. The results of regression analysis also indicate that effective and significant variables in the regression model have explained a total of 46.5% of the changes in the quality of life of women heads of households.
