Abstract

The growth of research in various fields of social sciences and the complexity of analyzing all dimensions of a problem have encouraged researchers to conduct meta-study research, which provides them with the extract of existing research on a specific subject in a systematic way. In the present research, which was carried out by meta-analysis method, 18 scientific researches about Social apathy and factors affecting it were analyzed The analyzed studies are related to the years 1386 to 1402, and these data were extracted from Iranian databases. Social apathy is a feeling of Subjective (cognitive) and objective (actional) separation between a person and social institutions and structures such as politics, family and religion; In such a way that a person sees himself separated from institutions and considers himself ineffective in reforming institutions and social structures. In a state of apathy, a person does not feel belonging to a group and does not prefer the benefit of the group to the benefit of the individual, if the person is a member of the group and the benefit of the group includes his own benefit. In the analyzed studies, the level of apathy among citizens is higher than the average, and its level changes with the fluctuations of five variables, civic commitment, individualism, abnormality, social satisfaction and relative deprivation, respectively. Also, based on the findings of this research, among the independent variables of selected researches, the dependent variable of social indifference has been investigated on citizens, the independent variables of social alienation, individualism, social satisfaction, social trust, social effectiveness and feeling of relative deprivation are the most frequent among other independent variables.
