Abstract

Social health is one of the most important aspects of quality of life and social welfare for citizens. Social capital refers to support, belonging, social bonds, and mutual assistance in facing social problems and hardships, as well as collective rituals. An increase in social capital reduces anxiety, worry, and stress, thereby enhancing social health and decreasing social risks. This research employs a meta-analysis method, covering the period from 2011 to 2024. Out of a statistical population of 50 scientific documents, 41 studies were selected.
The overall results confirm the impact of social capital on social health. Variables such as social support, social trust, social participation, social belonging, and social cohesion have played a vital role in strengthening collective efficacy and performance to address social issues and reduce psychosocial disorders between 2011 and 2024. Honest behaviors, mutual commitment within society, and voluntary civic participation—regardless of cultural differences—contribute to social development, improved quality of life, and enhanced individual and social capabilities. Under the influence of social capital, individuals collaborate for collective interests and common goals through social support, trust, and cohesion, distancing themselves from individualism, indifference, anxiety, and stress.
