Abstract
This study investigates the role of digital interventions in fostering a health-oriented lifestyle through a qualitative research approach. Employing thematic analysis, the research seeks to develop a nuanced and in-depth understanding of both social and individual dimensions associated with the use of digital technologies in promoting healthier living. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with 15 subject-matter experts, allowing for both structured inquiry and the open expression of participants’ experiences and perspectives. The analytical process involved initial coding to extract core concepts, followed by focused coding to explore deeper patterns and relationships among those concepts. The process continued until theoretical saturation was reached—when no new insights emerged, indicating a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon under investigation. The findings reveal that the capacities of digital interventions encompass wearable technologies, mobile health applications, virtual and augmented reality tools, online counseling platforms, telemedicine services, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and health-oriented social networks. Identified barriers include unequal access to technology, digital illiteracy, socio-cultural resistance, economic limitations, concerns over data privacy, and inadequate policy frameworks.
