Islamic fundamentalism is based on the belief that to overcome the current problems in Islamic societies and achieve a justice-oriented and moral society, it is necessary to return to the fundamental principles and initial beliefs and behaviors of Islam. This article seeks to explore a new aspect of Islamic fundamentalism. The study was conducted using thematic analysis among Sunni Kurds in Iran. The samples were selected through purposive sampling, and data was collected via semi-structured interviews. The findings indicate that rather than being extreme pragmatists or militants, these individuals strive to implement fundamentalist Islamic beliefs and behaviors as a lifestyle in their personal and social lives. This is reflected in aspects such as women's and girls' veiling, avoiding bank loans due to their interest-based nature, maintaining highly restricted and controlled personal and family relationships, resisting modern lifestyles, and similar practices. his is reflected in aspects such as women's and girls' veiling, avoiding bank loans due to their interest-based nature, maintaining highly restricted and controlled personal and family relationships, resisting modern lifestyles, and similar practices.
