Without a doubt, veiling and covering have significant positive effects on the psyche and well-being of women. Chastity and modesty serve as a protective barrier under which women are shielded from humiliation and degradation. By making the veil obligatory, Islam aims to prevent women from becoming mere objects of desire, safeguarding their dignity and preventing their reduction to mere instruments for satisfying lust. Considering the importance of veiling and covering for women, this study seeks to explore the impact of the level of women's covering on their mental health, moral health, and social security. The present study is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive in terms of its research method. The statistical population of the study consisted of female students from Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, totaling 54,670 individuals. The sample size was 381 participants, determined using the Morgan table, and the non-probability sampling method was employed to select this sample. Data were collected using SPSS software and analyzed through a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results indicated that the average mental health scores differed significantly across various levels of hijab, revealing a meaningful difference between the different types of hijab and mental health. Additionally, veiled women exhibited higher levels of moral health. Finally, there was a significant difference between the levels of hijab and social security.
