The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the components of Generation Z's consumer culture. Adopting a qualitative approach, the study utilized the meta-synthesis method. To this end, Sandelowski and Barroso’s seven-step method was implemented. The research corpus consisted of all scientific documents published in Persian and English between 2019 and 2025. Research keywords were searched across citation databases, and out of 386 relevant articles, 23 were selected for final analysis and synthesis following a rigorous screening process. Codes relevant to the research question were extracted from the selected articles and categorized through a three-level synthesis. The classification of codes resulted in the identification of 7 main categories and 18 sub-categories. The seven main categories include: Symbolic Consumer Identity Construction, Responsible and Ethical Consumption, Research-Driven Financial Decision-Making, Flexible Financial Management, Volatile Material Consumption, Transition to Non-Material Consumption, and Digitalization of the Consumption Process. By elucidating the components of Generation Z's consumer culture, the findings provide a comprehensive guide for policymakers, managers, and business owners to rethink and redesign educational strategies, marketing approaches, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives tailored to Generation Z, as well as to facilitate the digital transformation of businesses.
