Coronavirus pandemic has increased psychological distresses and reduced quality of life. This study aimed to examine the relation between participation in physical activity programs and health indices with coronavirus anxiety and quality of life. Participants included 840 (Mage 27.85 ± 8.47), age ranged from 18 to 40 years old in Tabriz, that filled out the targeted questionnaires. To analyze data, Pearson correlation and step by step regression were used. The results of regression analysis showed that participation in physical activity programs predicted coronavirus anxiety. The results also showed that participation in physical activity programs, physical activity volume, and body mass index predicted quality of life. Participation in physical activity programs would consider as an important factor to enhance quality of life and reduce anxiety during the coronavirus outbreak.
